Baltimore Museum of Art - Great collections of 19th Century, Modern and Contemporary Art. Also a nice outdoor sculpture garden. They have a nice collection of impressionist art and modern art. Walters Art Museum - World renowned collection and they do world class restoration work too. Collection from early Egyption up through 20th Century. American Visionary Art Museum - It specializes in the exhibits of outsider art. Usually modern. Usually unusual and interesting.

Baltimore Museum of Industry - collection of Baltimore's industrial and technological past. Fascinating to see how things were done before modern technology.

B&O Railroad Museum - Great exhibit of trains from the very earliest to recent. You can even ride on an old train.

Geppi's Entertainment Museum - An amazing collection of comic books from their beginning to present as well as toys and games from different periods of history. Will take you down Memory Lane. Unfortunately it is now part of memory lane as well. RIP. It was a fun museum.

Port Discovery - Baltimore's Children's Museum

Sports Legends Museum and Babe Ruth Birthplace - Explore where Babe Ruth grew up and displays of his memorabilia. Nearby the museum has exhibits on Baltimore teams and stars including the Orioles, Colts, Ravens, and Blast, and Brooks and Frank Robinson, Cal Ripken, Jamal and Ray Lewis and many more.

Maryland Science Center - with great hands on exhibits for kids of all ages explaining different aspects of science and technology

The National Aquarium - Fantastic exhibits of native and exotic fish and other creatures. You can walk around over and under them and feel like you could reach out and touch them.

National Great Blacks in Wax Museum - Lifelike figures and their stories of famous blacks who have helped shape American and world history.

Maryland Historical Society - A collection of Maryland artifacts from its earliest history up to the present. It ranges from paintings to some amazingly crafted furniture, silverware and other items. There is a maritime section and rotating exhibits.

Evergreen House - An amazing mansion with an amazing story. It looks like something from Newport or the Great Gatsby.

Reginald Lewis Museum of MD African American History and Culture - Tells the history of African Americans in Maryland, their trials and their triumphs
